Hi there, I'm Rob the Hiker. So my story begins many years ago when I was 14 years old. I spent 3 months hiking with my uncle on the Appalachian Trail with the intention of thru hiking it. Unfortunately finishing it wasn't possible at the time. We did hike over 700 miles though and I learned several valuable life lessons. Now I sit here over 15 years later thinking back to the dream I had at the time.

I wanted to hike all over the world.

Starting today I begin my journey to do just that. I invite you all to join me as I set out to follow my dream.
